Liverpool host PSG at Anfield tonight for the decisive second leg of their Champions League Round of 16 tie. In the first leg, Liverpool secured a shock 1-0 victory at the Parc des Princes, with Harvey Elliott scoring the crucial goal after PSG did everything but score. This result gives Liverpool a slim advantage, but PSG’s attacking threat of Dembele and Kvaratskhelia means the tie is all to play for. PSG’s Attacking Threat
Unbelievably, PSG failed to score last week as Liverpool goalkeeper Allison produced one of the performances of the season. The home side had 27 attempts and could’ve scored at least two in the first half, with Dembele and Kvaratskhelia having a combined 13 shots and six shots on target. In a game where PSG will need a goal for any chance of qualification, could we see even more shots for the French side?
Dembele has had a season to remember with 18 league goals and six Champions League goals so far. He’ll be disappointed to not turn one of his eight shots into a goal in the first leg, in this leg of the bet builder we just need the Frenchman to have a single shot on target, something he has done 14 times in his last 15 Champions League and Ligue 1 away matches.
Kvaratskhelia was desperately unlucky not to have scored at the Parc des Princes as Allison made some unbelievable saves to deny the Georgian. His dribbling was too much for the Liverpool defence at times and he will be a key part of PSG’s attack at Anfield. His move from Napoli in the January transfer window was deserved as Kvaratskhelia had been a prominent player with eight goal contributions in the 24/25 season. Up against a Liverpool side who conceded to Southampton on Saturday, The Georgian should be able to manoeuvre his way onto a sight at goal, whether it goes in or not is up to the Liverpool Goalkeeper.

Liverpool goalkeeper, Allison produced heroics on Wednesday night with nine incredible saves that defied logic at times. We need Allison to produce just three saves for this leg of our tip and up against a PSG side who have to score to stay in the competition, he will be in for a busy night. Hopefully he reproduces those moments that won him man of the match in the first leg.
