At this point, I consider Passion UA to be the favorites in this matchup, as several factors seem to favor them.
Arguments for playing the tip:
- The team performed strongly against Complexity after a somewhat weaker showing against BIG. The victory over Complexity was dominant from start to finish, and Passion UA clearly appeared as the better team in that match.
- MIBR was thoroughly challenged by TheMongolz, which was not unexpected, but it exposed several weaknesses in MIBR’s gameplay. TheMongolz took advantage of MIBR’s flaws on Ancient, which on paper should have been one of the Brazilian team’s strongest maps.
- I hope to see Passion UA avoid maps like Anubis and Ancient, although I’m somewhat doubtful this will happen. MIBR has several weaknesses in their map pool that Passion UA can exploit.
- Insani is a key player for MIBR, often carrying the team single-handedly. There is potential within the team, but the performance of the other players tends to be inconsistent, which creates stability issues for the team.
- Jambo is the star player for Passion UA, but he generally receives strong support from his teammates, making it a dynamic team. Several players on the team have the potential to step up and perform at the highest level.
Keep an eye on:
- If the match ends up on maps like Anubis or Ancient, MIBR will likely be very pleased, as these are maps where they have had success in the past.
- Passion UA is a team that thrives with momentum, but the question is how they handle adversity. We may get an answer to that in this match.
- MIBR struggled against TheMongolz, but they have delivered solid results in the matches leading up to that loss, which has helped boost their morale.
- As mentioned earlier: Jambo needs to be at his best for Passion UA to avoid a difficult day. Without Jambo performing at his top level, Passion UA could face problems in this match.
