Paris Saint-Germain return to club action on Friday night with a visit from Toulouse to Paris.

Enrique the PSG head coach is under immense pressure after an awful start to the champions League. In the league it’s a different story where they are unbeaten this season with domination through their domestic games.

PSG sit closer to the bottom of the UCL Table than the top. Toulouse have not won four straight games in a row since 2010 and will face their biggest test away from home against the champions of France

  • Premier League | Gameweek 10 Goalscorer Treble

Premier League | Gameweek 10 Goalscorer Treble

After landing the treble for Gameweek 9 last weekend, we’re looking for a back-to-back double in Premier League Gameweek 10.

The first stop in November, the weekend is headlined at Old Trafford as Manchester United begin life without Erik Ten Hag, with the visit of Chelsea on Sunday.

With European commitments to come in midweek, rotation is yet to come into play, so who has made BestofBets’ Gameweek 10 treble @ 16/1 with BetUK.

    Mo Salah

Gameweek 10’s punt begins on Merseyside, as Liverpool host Brighton in an intriguing re-run of their Carabao Cup clash in midweek with Mo Salah looking to fire for the third league game on the spin.

Having netted the Reds’ crucial late leveller against Arsenal last weekend, Arne Slot’s men remain on the heels of Manchester City as they welcome the Seagulls to Anfield.

    Embed from Getty Images

Wary of Bournemouth’s upset win earlier this season, Liverpool can take nothing for granted against Fabian Hurzeler’s charges who have already gone to Newcastle and picked up a win, also holding Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium.

As far as Salah goes however, the Egyptian has been prolific against Brighton with eight goals to his name since first facing them in 2018.

Netting home and away in the league last term, without Diogo Jota leading the line, Salah looks a good bet to find the target in Gameweek 10.

    Matheus Cunha

Next up, were off to the Black Country as Wolves host host Crystal Palace in an another potential early relegation six-pointer, and again, Matheus Cunha is likely to be the key man.

Capitalising on a misplaced pass on a 4-on-1 breakaway from Brighton last weekend, Cunha punished the Seagulls with a late leveller in a 2-2 draw at the AMEX.

A return home is welcome for the basement dwellers who are scratching around for points, but intriguingly, not for goals.

    Embed from Getty Images

Having tallied a combined ten goals this term, after their 2-0 loss to Arsenal on opening day, Wolves have also scored in every game in all comps.

Facing a Palace side that whilst coming into this on the heels of back-to-back wins – dumping Aston Villa out of the League Cup – are still shaky away from home, allowing for ample room for optimism of further goals here.

Cunha has netted in four of nine this term – two of the last three league games but furthermore, also scored home and away against their Gameweek 10 opponents. Cunha can be the man again this weekend.

    Cole Palmer

To complete the Gameweek 10 treble (we hope) we are indeed looking to Old Trafford, and to the same man that brought it home last weekend, Cole Palmer.

On the scoresheet against Newcastle last weekend, Palmer watched on from the bench as the Magpies exacted revenge in the Carabao Cup, clearly being prioritised for the league game here.

United, set to appoint Ruben Amorim in the coming week, put five past Leicester in the League Cup themselves under caretaker Ruud van Nistelrooy, but also conceded twice, in a performance that had pros and cons.

    Embed from Getty Images

From a betting point of view, goals at Old Trafford look absolutely nailed on now, with United set to be let off the leash and Chelsea remaining wildly cavalier.

The last three fixtures between the sides have seen over 2.5 goals, and last season saw a combined net of ten goals, with Palmer – like Salah and Cunha – netting both home and away.

The temptation might be to lean on home players for goals after their midweek showing, but there remains a doubt whether that United form can carry into the league, a worry which cannot really be applied to the Blues.

Next Permanent Manchester United Manager Betting – LATEST

The bookies have installed Ruben Amorim as heavy favourite to take up the reins as next Manchester United boss.

Following Erik ten Hag’s dismissal on Monday morning, United finally decided to cut ties with the Dutch steward, seeing their late defeat to struggling West Ham on Sunday as the final straw.

Parting ways after a rocky 30 months in charge, the clamour for the man to fill his boots has now begun and the current Sporting Clube de Portugal boss is at the time of writing, the man at the head of the queue.

    Amorim the Man

For a number of seasons now, Ruben Amorim has become a man in demand, not least with Premier League clubs in mind.

Now, reportedly Amorim has entered talks with United.

Having transformed Sporting from eternal bridesmaids to Porto, the team are now the dominant force in Portugal, with the steward’s aesthetic playing style having won many admiring glances.

Now in his fifth season with his hometown Lisbon club, it was with rivals Benfica where Amorim made a name for himself as a player, before his impressive exploits as a coach.

    Embed from Getty Images

Heavily touted as Jurgen Klopp’s replacement at Liverpool, it could now be Manchester as his next destination.

The Red Devils found success under Jose Mourinho, but in Amorim, the club could have found another Portuguese to take them back to the top.

The bookies have Amorim as short as 1/5 but at best 1/3 with BetVictor.

    Ruud awakening?

Of course, if United go with Amorim, they may have to wait until next summer and Ruud van Nistelrooy looks set to take charge for the remainder of the season, with Amorim unlikely to leave mid-season.

Having been promoted as number two to Ten Hag since this summer, the former United striker would be a popular choice to be given a chance to show his skills on an interim basis.

    Embed from Getty Images

Opting to remain with the club on an interim basis, given his history at Old Trafford, he ticks a lot of boxes, certainly in the short-term.

Having led PSV Eindhoven before his Premier League return, taking the United boss full time remains for the moment a distant prospect, but if his stint goes well, stranger things have happened than being handed the permanent post at 15/2 with SpreadEx.

    Xavi option

After his retirement in 2019 with Al Sadd, it was only a matter of time before one of the greatest players of his generation, Xavi, made the transition into management.

Staying in the Middle East to manage the club he represented for four seasons, Xavi won seven trophies with the Qatari club, before his time was called to return home.

As a four-time European Cup winner with Barca, taking the dugout at Camp Nou was a near certainty and with Ronald Koeman under fire, the Spaniard was appointed Barcelona manager in November 2021.

    Embed from Getty Images

However, his time in charge did not go to plan and winning just one Spanish Super Cup in three seasons, Xavi was sacked at the end of last term.

For one of the classiest players in recent time, Xavi has all the credentials to succeed as a manager, but clearly has roads to travel on his journey.

Could, then, the United post be coming at the perfect time, with expectations having dipped of late?

After a period of stagnation under Ten Hag – but not exclusively – Xavi’s price may now have significantly drifted but the option remains open and still attractive at 14/1 with BetVictor.

  • Premier League | Gameweek 9 Goalscorer Treble

Premier League | Gameweek 9 Goalscorer Treble

As November nears, thoughts are now turning to the holiday period, but for us here at BestofBets, this weekend is merely Premier League Gameweek 9.

With Arsenal and Liverpool taking top billing in a monster clash at the Emirates Stadium, could we see goals or are both defences looking to tighten up in north London?

Regardless, we’ve teed up another goalscorer treble @ 7/1 with BetUK but who has made the grade this week?

    Bryan Mbeumo

As Gameweek 9 begins early on Friday night, our first picks focuses on west London, as Brentford host a still-winless Ipswich Town, and Bryan Mbeumo could be on the spot.

Failing to score inside the second minute for the first time in four league games last time out at Old Trafford, the Bees fell to a fourth loss of the season – after an initial lead – but in Gameweek 9 return home to their unbeaten patch.

Notching a combined total of ten in their own back yard against basement dwellers Crystal Palace, Southampton and Wolves, this weekend the latest of the bottom half, the Tractor Boys, pull into town.

    Embed from Getty Images

After a deflating 2-0 loss to Everton at Portman Road last weekend, Kieran McKenna is looking for a response but that is a tough task here.

For Mbeumo, before Gameweek 8, the Cameroonian had netted in three games on the spin, but if we look at his home form in particular, has scored in every home game this term – twice against the Saints.

Ipswich have proved plucky opposition on the road so far, but the numbers for the visiting defences that have come to Brentford so far this campaign are stark.

For the Suffolk side, having conceded six in the last two outings, a physical Brentford side could be tough to manage, not least Mbeumo.

    Erling Haaland

Next we move north to Manchester as City welcome beleaguered Southampton to the Etihad Stadium, with many expect a potential cricket score, and Erling Haaland being eyed up for the spoils.

Having ended his three-game scoring drought with a brace in midweek against Sparta Prague, Saints fans would have been left with a cold sweat of what might be to come in Gameweek 9 after his aerial antics.

Themselves throwing away a 2-0 lead at St. Mary’s last time out, Russell Martin’s men have conceded a total 18 goals after eight games, shipping three in each of the last three games.

    Embed from Getty Images

The hosts may have been a little goal-shy by their meteoric league standards of late, but Saturday looks like a big number could be tallied.

After hitting five against the Czechs, three against Fulham and four versus Ipswich all at home this season, Southampton could be in for a torrid afternoon, with FPL managers looking at their triple captain chip.

It seems inevitable Haaland gets a goal on Saturday, but in a bonus punt, a third hat-trick of the season might be on the cards at 6/1 William Hill.

    Cole Palmer

Our third and final punt returns back down to west London as Chelsea host Newcastle, with Cole Palmer getting the nod.

As the Blues continue to rack up the goals – four more against Panathinaikos on Thursday night in Europe – the ever-pressing question is which of their attacking unit picks up the scoring gauntlet; a poser which in the league at least looks to be either Nicolas Jackson or Palmer.

    Embed from Getty Images

In the case of Palmer, however, after his four-goal tirade against Brighton in Gameweek 6, the number 20 failed to net against both Nottingham Forest and last weekend against Liverpool, but the chances have still come his way.

Newcastle’s last two league games have been tight, with just one goal in 180 minutes, but this fixture screams goals again.

Both Jackson and Palmer netted in this fixture last term in a 3-2 win, but for his penalty duties alone, we must lean on Palmer to find the scoresheet.

  • UEFA Champions League | Matchday 3 Goalscorer Treble

UEFA Champions League | Matchday 3 Goalscorer Treble

The UEFA Champions League swings back into action for Matchday 3 this midweek, headlined by two Hispano-Germanic clashes.

As red-hot Bayern Munich travel to Barcelona and Real Madrid welcome Borussia Dortmund to the Bernabeu, here at BestofBets, we’ve put our necks on the block for another goalscorer treble.

Here is our modest 7/1 offering with Unibet for Champions League Matchday 3.

    Dusan Vlahovic

We begin in Turin as Juventus host Stuttgart, and as the Old Lady hunt down Inter in Serie A, Dusan Vlahovic has finally found his feet once more.

A man once regarded as one of the hottest properties in Europe, the Serbian striker’s move from Fiorentina was largely deemed a flop, however under new boss Thiago Motta, Vlahovic is in rich form.

Having scored five in the last four, Vlahovic hit braces away to Genoa and on Matchday 2 with a man down away to Leipzig in a 3-2 win. Vlahovic – like all three in our treble – is also looking confident from the penalty spot right now.

    Embed from Getty Images

Stuttgart are enjoying a decent start to the campaign and are a menace at home, but on the road look decidedly softer.

Shipping four to Bayern at the weekend and three to Real Madrid on Matchday 2, Juve, with two wins from two will be eyeing top spot in the standings to end Matchday 3.

Vlahovic, two behind Harry Kane in the scoring charts, will also be eyeing boosting his numbers.

    Mateo Retegui

Next up, we stay in in Italy and travel north-east, as Atalanta welcome a rough-shod Celtic to Bergamo, with Mateo Retegui licking his lips.

There are two sizeable factors in our selection here, firstly, being the form of the Italian international.

A man who featured in our Nations League Matchday 4 treble, La Dea’s frontman has now scored in his last three for both club and country, including a hat-trick against Genoa and a decisive strike away to tricky Venezia over the weekend.

    Embed from Getty Images

Secondly, they welcome a Celtic side who have conceded ten goals in their last three games, surrendering a 2-0 lead at home to rivals Aberdeen on Saturday, but more significantly hammered 7-1 by Dortmund on Matchday 2 last time out.

Meanwhile, Atalanta went to Gelsenkirchen to face Shakhtar Donetsk and put three past the Ukrainians.

With The Bergamascos having netted two goals in five of seven games, the hosts could be in the mood and Retegui will have ample opportunity to score for a fourth-consecutive game.

    Erling Haaland

Our final stop is Manchester and if punters would want one man – at home no less – to seal the treble, Erling Haaland would surely be it.

Despite having blanked in his last three games in all comps, Haaland will be itching to hit back on Matchday 3 against Sparta Prague, and the Czechs should be wary.

    Embed from Getty Images

Scoring away to Slovan Bratislava last time out, Sparta come into this game in decent form, however, this test is different gravy.

Twenty-two days without a goal for the mighty Norwegian is something approaching a crisis for the prolific Viking hitman, but it should be no more than that.

It feels like a reaction is imminent at the Etihad Stadium on Wednesday night; Matchday 3 should be his time to strike once more.

  • Premier League | Gameweek 8 Goalscorer Treble

Premier League | Gameweek 8 Goalscorer Treble

After the penultimate international break before March, to the relief of many, domestic affairs swing back into action this week, for Premier League Gameweek 8.

With seven league games on the slate, this weekend throws up a mouth-watering clash at Anfield between Liverpool and free-scoring Chelsea. But does the game feature in our goalscorer treble?

Casting our net once more across the ten games, here is BestofBets’ Gameweek 8 goalscorer treble @ a lofty 33/1 with Unibet.

    Raul Jimenez

We begin Gameweek 8 at Craven Cottage as eighth host fifth, with Fulham hosting Aston Villa, and Raul Jimenez in his best form in front of goal for some time.

As the Mexican continues to find his feet and confidence after his career and indeed life-threatening head injury against Arsenal during the pandemic season in 2020, the Fulham hitman looks back in his rhythm, now back in the international fold also.

Having watched on last season as Rodrigo Muniz made a huge impact on the Thames, Jimenez again started this season on the bench, but with the Brazilian’s goals having dried up, Jimenez has become Marco Silva’s number once again.

    Embed from Getty Images

Forgetting his blank against Man City before the international break, the former Wolves man netted in three league games on the spin prior to that.

On the scoresheet twice at home to West Ham and Newcastle, Fulham’s home form suggests another strong showing against a Villa side who may have one eye on Bologna in midweek.

With penalty duties taken off Andreas Pereira, Jimenez carries a double-fold threat, and to us looks a good punt to grab number four of the season.

    Liam Delap

Next, we move from the capital to leafy Suffolk, as Ipswich welcome Everton to Portman Road in a potential six-pointer so early in the campaign, with Liam Delap our pick.

What a recruit the former Manchester City academy player has proven for Kieran McKenna, with four in seven to begin his top-flight experience.

    Embed from Getty Images

The Winchester native has been a powerful addition to the Tractor Boys’ attack on their Premier League return and his brace against the Villans was impressive.

Delap is a workhorse and will run and run and is set to go at an Everton defence that although improving, have still shipped 14 goals – eight away from home.

This could be a surprisingly tight contest given the stakes already as stated, but in tight spaces Delap thrives and we are backing the Ipswich man in Gameweek 8.

    Luis Diaz

Yes, the main event of Gameweek 8 does make it into the treble and we are pinning our hopes on Luis Diaz to complete the triple.

Diaz may not be a form horse, but not only did the Colombian net in his country’s final World Cup qualifier at home to Chile in midweek, Diaz scored in both league outings against Chelsea last season.

    Embed from Getty Images

The winger may not have netted since his home brace against Bournemouth in Gameweek 5, but Diaz’s best performances have been in front of the Kop and the stats prove, against the Blues also.

Mo Salah might be the obvious choice in a contest that suggests a goal-fest, but Diaz may be the more prudent choice, we hope to bring home the Gameweek 8 treble.

  • UEFA Nations League | Matchday 4 Goalscorer Treble

UEFA Nations League | Matchday 4 Goalscorer Treble

After Saturday saw the completion of the first round of international games this break, Matchday 4 begins on Sunday, with the UEFA Nations League now at the half-way stage.

With 26 games before Tuesday is out, BestofBets are putting up another scorer triple to ponder @ 22/1 with Boylesports.

So who has made the grade for our Matchday 4 goalscorer treble?

    Christoph Baumgartner

First up for our treble, we look to Group B3, as leaders Norway travel to Austria on Monday night with Christoph Baumgartner looking to hit form.

After impressing during this past summer’s Euros, Austria got their first win under the belts since elimination to Turkey back in June.

Hitting Kazakhstan for four on Matchday 3, Baumgartner was first on the scoresheet, as player who makes the Austrians tick.

    Embed from Getty Images

Only his second goal in six, the RB Leipzig man has been somewhat out of touch, but his tally belies his true value to a side, and is often a busy man at number 10.

Set for a decisive clash in seeking to gain promotion to League A, Austria have scored a remarkable 12 goals in their last three games on home soil; Baumgartner can cause problems for the Norwegians.

    Mateo Retegui

Next, we jump to Group A2, as leaders Italy welcome Israel with open arms to Udine, with Mateo Retegui ready to shine again.

As the Israelis arrive bottom of the standings with three defeats from three after a 4-1 thumping in Budapest, the Azzurri could be in the mood to inflict more pain here.

Now revitalised under Luciano Spalletti, albeit after a tricky bedding-in spell, the Italians have scored seven goals so far this campaign – at least twice a game.

    Embed from Getty Images

Toppling their opponents in the reverse fixture in Matchday 2, they were held 2-2 by Belgium after a Lorenzo Pellegrini dismissal, but here they should be back in the groove.

Italy’s front line is really starting to bolster up, and Retegui is part of a new era.

Now first-choice for Spalletti, the Argentine-born striker netted his third goal for his adopted nation on Thursday night, coming into the international break off a hat-trick against Genoa.

Clearly a man in form, Retegui looks well set to notch in back-to-back games.

    Brennan Johnson

Speaking of form, we end our Matchday 4 goalscorer treble with a man who is quite simply a walking goal-magnet right now, Brennan Johnson.

As Wales continue their revolution under Craig Bellamy, the Welsh Dragon host Montenegro on Matchday 4, looking to hunt down Turkey for promotion to League A.

For Johnson, its now an impressive seven-game scoring streak for both Wales and Spurs, finally carrying over his scintillating Premier League form for his country, netting in Iceland on Friday night.

    Embed from Getty Images

Johnson’s exploits have been aided by a more advanced, second striker role, particularly under Bellamy, who is creating a nice partnership with Kieffer Moore.

Montenegro proved a tough nut to crack for the Turks days ago, but Wales will be keen on keeping the momentum up in front of their own fans.

That should happen on Sunday, and right now, it is hard to back against Johnson.

BestofBets’ Matchday 4 goalscorer treble: Baumgartner, Retegui + Johnson @ 22/1 with Boylesports.

  • UEFA Nations League | Matchday 3 Goalscorer Treble

UEFA Nations League | Matchday 3 Goalscorer Treble

As the international breaks trudges along, Thursday finally sees some action as Matchday 3 of the UEFA Nations League kicks into gear.

With four leagues of 14 groups to play twice before Tuesday is out, here at BestofBets were are once again eyeing up a goalscorer treble.

For the last three instalments of the column we’ve hit 2/3, so will internationals bring greater favour?

Spreading our net across all games, here is our Nations League Matchday 3 punt @ a tasty 18/1 with BoyleSports.

    Georges Mikautadze

The biggest issue with picking an international treble is predicting just what XI will be starting for certain countries. With that in mind we look for the sure-fire starters, beginning with Georges Mikautadze.

As Georgia travel to Poznan to face Ukraine, Willy Sagnol continues to get the best from an extremely talented squad, sitting top of Group B1, after two games.

Thrashing Czechia to begin the competition and then picking up a narrow win against the handy Albanians, together with ‘Kvaradona’, Mikautadze has been a focal point in attack.

    Embed from Getty Images

Having scored three goals during the Euros. the Lyon striker has not scored for his new club since a summer switch from Metz, but for his country, he is a form man.

Its currently five from seven for Mikautadze for Georgia; facing a Ukraine side already having shipped five goals in two Nations League outings, punters should be in good hands.

    Harry Kane

Next up, we turn our eyes toward London and Group B2 as leaders England and Greece meet at Wembley Stadium, and with a slight element of doubt over his starting, we’re sticking with Harry Kane.

Netting a brace against Iceland in Matchday 2, the England skipper took his total past the century mark and went on to a short-term prolific run for Bayern Munich.

Hitting hat-tricks in the Bundesliga away to Holstein Kiel and then days later an historic four goals at home to Dinamo Zagreb in the Champions League, Kane then grabbed another goal away to Bremen the following weekend.

    Embed from Getty Images

Scoring a combined total of 10 goals in 11 days in all comps, Kane, however, has blanked in his last three, with a slight injury concern.

But with a potentially pivotal game to come here, this should be the occasion for Kane to rise once more and we are backing him to be amongst the goals.

    Kerem Akturkoglu

Finally, we jump to Samsun and Group B4 as leaders Turkey host Montenegro, with Kerem Akturkoglu on fire for both club and country.

Having scored a hat-trick against Iceland in Matchday 2, the Turkish number 7 has carried through his scintillating form for new club Benfica.

    Embed from Getty Images

His switch from Galatasaray has been seamless, having scored in all but one of five Primera Liga games since, and in his one goalless outing, grabbed a brace of assists.

Akturkoglu is catching the eye of a number of Europe’s top club, but he has already made our radar.

As Montenegro visit having conceded twice against both a revitalised Wales and Iceland, Turkey look good here to grab at least another few, and Akturkoglu could very well be on the scoresheet again.

BestofBets’ Nations League Matchday 3 goalscorer treble @ 18/1 with Boylesports.

  • Premier League | Gameweek 7 Goalscorer Treble

Premier League | Gameweek 7 Goalscorer Treble

As the international break rolls into view, Premier League Gameweek 7 is the last chance to taste domestic action for a fortnight.

With four of the top five in action at home, both Manchester City and Arsenal could rack up the goals, but who makes BetsofBets’ final goalscorer treble before the interval?

With a policy of only backing players individually who are above EVS to score, here’s Gameweek 7’s triple @ 13/1 with 888sport.

    Kai Havertz

Yes, we’re sticking with Arsenal’s Kai Havertz, who continues to extol Vorsprung Durch Tecknik.

After his documented mini-drought, the German forward has netted in back-to-back games, late against Leicester last weekend and against a poor PSG side in the Champions League.

A far inferior opposition are next to travel to the Emirates Stadium, as Southampton make the trip from the south coast having conceded three goals in three of the last four league games.

    Embed from Getty Images

Whilst there may be more than a few wary punters after Leicester’s plucky showing in Gameweek 6, the Saints have shown little evidence they can come close to competing with the Gunners here.

Worryingly for Russell Martin, this is Southampton’s first game against top four opposition, and you feel if Arsenal want to – with the international break to come – the hosts could inflict damage here. Havertz looks a good punt to make it three in three.

    Bryan Mbeumo

Next up, we look to west London and as Brentford host rock-bottom Wolves, Bryan Mbeumo looks a nice addition to the betslip.

Forgetting Erling Haaland’s ongoing exploits for moment, Mbeumo is one of the Premier League’s most in-from front men, having netted in three of the last four.

With a penchant for scoring early for the Bees, the Cameroonian was on target in the opening minute in the last two against capital opposition in Spurs and West Ham.

    Embed from Getty Images

All eyes will be on kick-off then, but aside from the chances of a remarkable third-straight statistic, Brentford face a Wolves side who look to be battling relegation.

Having conceded twice in five of six league outings, their combined tally of concessions is 19 goals, and that looks likely to be added to, with Mbeumo in the frame once more.

Perhaps the bigger question is, could Brentford once again find the net inside a minute? With Yoann Wissa out, it may also be worth a spin on Mbeumo to score first @ 6/1 with BetUK.

    Evanilson

Quietly, Bournemouth are becoming a very watchable Premier League package and after their star summer signing got off the mark last time out, we’re backing Evanilson to hit the goal trail.

As the Cherries sit 11th in the standings, Andoni Iraola is molding his side into a particularly attractive side, and Antoine Semenyo is very likely to be catching the eye of bigger clubs.

    Embed from Getty Images

However, after his predatory finish against Southampton on Monday night, Evanilson could now be on to a good thing.

Despite missing a penalty against Chelsea, the Brazilian is making an impact and having now opened his account, a trip to Leicester looks inviting.

The Foxes have made a better fist of things in the top flight than many expected, but have still failed to keep a clean sheet in six.

Bournemouth may have a chequered record on the road, but with Steve Cooper’s men unable to keep the door locked at the back, Evanilson could complete the treble.

Premier League Gameweek 7 goalscorer treble @ 13/1 with 888sport: Havertz, Mbeumo + Evanilson.

  • UEFA Champions League | Matchday 2 Goalscorer Treble

UEFA Champions League | Matchday 2 Goalscorer Treble

As the international break looms on the horizon, before the final round of league games takes place this weekend, first, UEFA Champions League Matchday 2 rolls into view.

With the jury out after the first round of the new era in the European Cup, the midweek plucks out a number of blockbuster ties, including Arsenal hosting PSG and a home baptism of fire for Aston Villa against Bayern Munich.

And so once again BestofBets looks to three names from the hat to form another goalscorer treble, in Matchday 2 @ 18/1 with BetUK.

    Deniz Undav

Matchday 2 is a Bundesliga-based triple, starting with VfB Stuttgart and talisman, Deniz Undav.

With Sehrou Guirassy having departed for Borussia Dortmund, Undav has been handed the reins as first-choice number 9 and the German international has grabbed his opportunity with both hands.

    Embed from Getty Images

Scoring in his last four outings, Undav netted a last-gasp leveller at Wolfsburg at the weekend, also grabbing a brace in Stuttgart’s 5-1 dismantling of Dortmund.

On the scoresheet at the Bernabeu in Matchday 1, Undav is proving a man for all occasions, which we are confident can continue against Sparta Prague in Matchday 2.

    Victor Boniface

Next up, we move from Baden-Wurttemburg to North Rhine-Westphalia, as Bayer Levekusen host AC Milan.

Fresh off a draw on the road to Bayern Munich on Saturday, Xabi Alonso’s men will be confident of hitting their goal-scoring straps again in the form of Victor Boniface.

As the Nigerian battles for a starting berth with Patrik Schick, Boniface has two league goals in the his last three outings.

Whilst far from prolific, Leverkusen have been, and in seven games in all comps have put three on the board, three of which saw a tally of four goals.

Milan provide a tricky opposition after their recent derby win over Inter, but having themselves shipped a triple at San Siro versus Liverpool last time out, Boniface should be feeling confident of opening his European season account.

    Benjamin Sesko

We finish up Matchday 2’s treble in Saxony, with one of the hottest young properties in world football, Benjamin Sesko.

RB Leipzig have a formidable front two in the Slovenias and Lois Openda, but it is Sesko who is impressing more this term.

Despite a team blank in their last two Bundesliga games, Sesko was on the mark at Civitas Metropolitano at Atletico Madrid in Matchday 1, and before then, netted a double in a 4-0 win over Augsburg.

Providing both assists in Leipzig’s surprise away win against the champions Leverkusen, Sesko is turning on the style in all departments.

Juventus are the visitors in midweek – a side who have been extremely frugal in conceding goals under new boss Thiago Motta – but Sesko’s penalty duties swing the argument for his spot in the treble.
