Today my Bet of the Day is: Espanyol 0.0 -0.5 priced 1.88 in almost all the bookies. We need Espanyol to win, but if it’s end with a draw, we only lost half.
I Explain why I’m taking this bet:
Espanyol, a team that been in first division 87 out of 94 seasons started this year in “Segunda” with the biggest budget ever for a team in this category. More money than half of the team’s in la Liga. But the results been horrible so far. They changed the coach twice this season and some of the signings not performed. But is not all lost. If the team manage to win the play off and comeback to La Liga, all will be forgotten
TODAY the team have the last chance to try to promote ending up in the first two spots. It’s an obligation win after 5 draws in a row. If we talk in terms of quality Espanyol is far better than Oviedo. They have the best player in the league, Martin Braithwaite, ex Barcelona, top scorer and Puado. Also quality guys that still have to shine like Pere Milla.
If only Espanyol converts a 20% of the chances they had in the last games, they will win today. They keep generating chances, it’s just about accuracy. About rival, Oviedo knows that winning Andorra home next week , they will reach play off. Today game is important for them but a defeat is something that can happen and no one will complain
