Premier League | Leicester vs Tottenham | Tip

Leicester City begin their return to the Premier League on Monday night, after being promoted back on the first time of asking. Ange Postecoglou’s ever exciting Tottenham team are in town under the lights at the King Power Stadium.

A new season comes with a new manager for the Foxes – with former Nottingham Forest manager, Steve Cooper, taking over from Enzo Maresca – who has joined Chelsea.

Meanwhile, Ange Postecoglou begins his second season in charge at Spurs after winning over the fans in his first campaign. He will be looking to build on an encouraging first season and new signings Archie Gray and Dominic Solanke will certainly give them some great squad depth and a proven Premier League goalscorer.

Solanke scored 19 goals for Bournemouth in the Premier League last season, and he looks good to start here his tally here.

The Lilywhites scored 36 goals away from home last season, only bettered by Arsenal, Man City and Liverpool. Tottenham saw 3+ match goals in 30/38 league games last season, they managed just seven clean sheets in their 38 Premier League games, highlighting their defensive issues coming from their aggressive, open approach.

Leicester vs Tottenham is a fixture which always provides goals. The last 5 H2H games read: 4-1, 6-2, 3-1, 2-3 and 2-4.

I am expecting goals again here. Tottenham are more than capable of scoring 2, 3 or more against this weak Leicester side. However, with their open approach I fully expect a home-crowd backed Leicester to cause Tottenham plenty of problems.
