Holy smokes I’m looking forward to this match. It’s two teams that suits each other. I’ve got a few points for aurora as the best team. If we are looking at the shape in the past 6-9 weeks, Aurora has played some amazing CS. They have not lost many games. Aurora signed r3salt and suddenly everything makes sense. All five men on the Aurora team is near perfect a-level and on the individual and firepower Aurora are a A-level team. The trio, r3salt, Deko and Kensi are playing amazing at the moment.
If we are looking on the Saw team, it all depends on a man or two. On the contrary, Aurora has more players to depend on. All this in mind, Aurora must keep up on the individual aspect.
Taking a closer look at the veto of the day – it could be interesting… or not.
Aurora is by far the strongest team in this match. Nuke is, in my opinion, the only map where Saw maybe favorites. With that said, Aurora will be the favorite to win the veto. Mirage, Anubis, Inferno and Ancient are all maps Aurora has an advantage on. The question is, is Dust2 in play? I could easily imagine that.
Why you should play it:
– Aurora are the better team individually. They have more team players which have hit A-level. I cannot imagine Saw win against Aurora at their current shape.
– The veto for the day is going to be difficult to win for Saw. Again, the shape that Saw has at the moment is going to be a problem. They have not played many games well in the past 3-4 weeks.
Why you should keep an eye out with this play:
– A key factor is that Aurora often isn’t playing against good tier1 teams. It is often tier2 or tier3 teams. When Saw hits a-level, they are an effective team. If they hit that level, Aurora can and will struggle.
– Aurora has shown trouble in their team plays in several games. They have got a powerhouse of dimensions, but are their tactical aspect on a 100% yet? I can have my doubts.
“OBS: Aurora is also simultaneously in a LAN tournament. So, it will be interesting where to focus is lying.”
