My tip is on Ninjas in Pyjamas against Amkal in the Blast Premier tournament. Amkal is in a reinventing phase where NIP must find some momentum as they did earlier in the year.
Arguments for playing the tip:
– NIP is 100% a more well playing team than Amkal. NIP has shown that their A-game is way higher when they hit it.
– It has only been 2 weeks since the Swedish crew won against teams such as Furia, Cloud9 and Faze. Again, the A-level is sky high.
– Amkal is at the moment in a bad streak. 7 lost matches. They aren’t playing well.
– Amkal got a new teammate, Topo, 20 days ago. A player I can not see having the skills to play against the best. Besides that, they are playing this match with a stand in.
– I have NIP as the favourite on every map no matter how the veto plays out. It will be tough for Amkal to challenge their opponents.
Arguments against playing the tip:
– the way the betting market are at the moment, the first map pick should be Amkals pick. It would give them a little extra confidence.
– Doesn’t NIP hit their high A-level, it could definitely be a interesting match. NIP is unfortunately not 100% consistent yet.
– Amkal has some interesting names on their roster. Players who have great firepower.
– Individually the players at NIP are not i shape. Players like Isak, Maxster and Rez has not hit their a-game.
