Odds: 1.65 at Kambi = 1.5/5 units on the tip
On paper this might be a coin toss match. None of the two teams impress me. Both teams have had nice results looking back just 2-3 weeks. But their shape is not consistent at both teams. From time to time their shape are terrible. I’m choosing the pick where Falcons should win their own map pick.
Arguments for playing the tip:
- Falcons has several maps in their mappool where I believe they are favorites. In my opinion they can take the match and be favorite on Anubis, Vertigo or Dust2. Those 3 maps, Falcons should be favorite and win 9/10 times.
- The individual shape is better at Falsons. Magisk Maden and Sunpayus has regained a little level and luck on the server. It’s not 100% well but is most definitely better than 4-5 weeks ago. At the moment the individual class is better at Falcons.
- Both teams are a bit dead in my opinion. Falcons is making some replacements in their roster for the 2025 season. That’s something we already know. Furia has to make some roster changes if they want to win some titles. Falcons has been looking better after the announcement of the roster changes was made public. They look like a team that plays to secure their future.
- It’s only been 2 weeks since Falcons looked like a team in their best shape. That momentum is something I hope they brought to Malta.
Keep an eye on.
- This is a little bit of a strange match up. If Furia ends up winning 2-0, then it won’t be a surprise for me. It’s kind of 2 joker teams we have in the match.
- Falcons did hit somewhat of a top level 2 weeks ago but have lost 5 matches in a row know. Four of them was Bo3 matches where only one was won.
- The low level at Falcons is really low, actually is not even present. If Falcons doesn’t hit some level in this match, they will be torn apart.
- Furia has on paper some stable individuals on their roster. Could Yuurih and Kscerato hit their “normal” level, Falcons needs to be ready from the beginning.
