B8 Vs. Monte
Monte ends the tournament with best rating @ 1.85 at Unibet = 2units
Who will be placed at the highest HLTV rating of these two crews when the tournament ends?
It’s between B8 and Monte.
Again, with the previous pick, I like the odds on Monte. B8 are going to struggle here. Then we’ll once again go with the Polish crews.
Arguments for playing the tip:
- B8 has just finished a tournament in Finland where the play was never great. B8 ended up with a score of 0.92 – terrible score.
- When their bottom level isn’t better, then it’ll be difficult against the more widened teams. B8 could easily handle Jano and NIP if they were the opponents.
- When the opponents were TheMongolz and/or Heroic then the troubles were coming. B8 looked like a team that has already gone on winterbreak.
- B8 has unfortunately been put in the more difficult group. They’ll start by meeting Eternal Fire which I’ll see them loosing. After that it’s a win or lose match against either Saw or Falcons. A match were B8 isn’t my favorite at all. ( despite B8 easily won against saw)
- Monte is in my opinion been put in a much easier group looking at the matched. Monte can get 2 matches they’ll easily win or if not they’ve gotten great opportunities to get far in thr tournament. With that being said I do not believe Monte will be run over by any of these teams. The big defeats is those they will feel on the rating.
Keep an eye on:
- B8 has shown their top level is bogreat and high. They’ve beaten more of the greater teams lately.
- With some great qualification matches to get qualified to the ESL Katowice they’ve shown how to win a match. They won easily 2-0 against Saw (which they probably are going to meet again)
- We’ll begin with Bo1 matches. Even though B8 are going to meet Eternal Fire, B8 are bringing fighting power unlike Eternal Fire who has been taking a nice break.
- B8 has definitely potential in the team. It’s an interesting team with great individuals. They xan find the great shape. Then Monte will get in trouble only bringing the rating.
- Not many matches in the B group that will make Monte favourites. If they get their ass kicked by Pain it’ll be hard to recover from that.
