Tip for the match:
Mouz -5.5 Overall @ 1.83 at Bet365 = 1.25units
A huge surprise is what we saw in the first round of the blast finals. Astralis did beat the worlds no 1 with an easy 2-0. Was Astralis crazy and wild or did Navi have an off day? Well, that depends on the way you look at it. But a 2-0 victory is a fact. Impressive. Mouz on the other hand did win a fine mental match against Faze, which is never an easy opponent. Now it’s Astralis vs Mouz. A match where Mouz is my favorite.
Arguments for playing the tip:
– The duo Jabbi and Stavn at Astralis hasn’t impressed me yet. Can’t quite remember when Astralis played 2 great matches in a row. This being said with a grain of salt. Of course, Astralis has had great periods, but unfortunately, they throw it when they finally has a great match in store. Astralis is far from being at 100% yet.
– Cadian with a damaged hand or not? – it should be true. It was clear. Cadian can IGL, but it requires 2-3 men at Astralis to hit their a-game as they did against Navi. Personally, I think they played above ability. It would surprise me if we see this kind of level 2 matches in a row.
– As a team and none the least tactical, I believe Mouz is a level or 2 better in this match. Cadian and co can be great but lack time together as a unit. Mouz will win this match on the tactical aspect.
– Mouz who has several matches together on different maps can make the difference here. Teamplay, individual, mental and not to forget map pool is weighted points where I believe Mouz will win.
Keep an eye on:
– Astralis won an easy 2-0 against Navi. It will give confidence to the team.
– The maps Mouz prefers to play on are also maps Astralis enjoys.
– Does Jabbi and Stavn hit the same crazy level, then they are able to play up to Xertion and co. There isn’t a big difference on the two teams a-game when being hit.
– An overall play like this can be dangerous. It’s not often mouz smash their opponent’s big time.
