Astralis against Complexity! It sounds like a great game! Two teams that probable will have some roster changes soon. Their game isn’t the most stable and isn’t in the positive progress. My pick is Complexity must win own map pick. Let’s dig into my reasons why.
Arguments for playing the tip:
– It’s obvious that Complexity must pick Vertigo. A map they usually play very well. The team has in general some great advantages on the map. 15 victories out of 20 tries on the maps. It clearly a map they need to pick. I do have several maps I believe Complexity could win. This tip is chosen because I’m sure they choose Vertigo. (a little gamble I know)
– Has Astralis ever played great CS under this lineup? In the big picture it’s a no. It doesn’t look like a team in balance. There’s a lot of things that doesn’t work.
– Astralis is in my opinion a bad tactical team. They’re 100% dependent on Device or Stavn to smash the server.
– The tactics can be an issue on a map like Vertigo (if we end up on this map) I think Astralis looked terrible against Fnatic on Vertigo even though the score was close.
– The a-game is just better at Complexity if they hit it. It’s only 3-4 weeks ago Complexity was on fire. I believe Astralis will be in trouble if they hot their A-game again.
Keep an eye on:
– Complexity got smashed against M80. They didn’t stand a chance from start till finish.
– Astralis showed some nice moments against Fnatic despite them loosing.
– I believe in roster changes on the Danish team and if Complexity doesn’t change their result, it may very well happen in that team as well.
– The NA team isn’t strong on the mental aspect. They all play with feelings. The mental game has given Complexity many lost games. They fall even quicker than most top20 teams. So a bad start Can destroy their game
