Manchester City have been largely efficient in this summer’s transfer window as they have sold Riyad Mahrez to Saudi club Al Ahli followed by offloading two of their top academy graduates, Shea Charles and James Trafford at premium fee to Southampton and Burnley respectively.
They have brought in two youngsters followed by the signing of Mateo Kovacic from Chelsea for £30m. The treble winners have also gone on and agreed a £77.6m fee for Croatian defender Josko Gvardiol, making him one of the most expensive defenders in football history!
